On Saturday night, Pete, myself and three of my students enjoyed a traditional Owambo dinner. We killed and cooked my chicken and ate it with ombivi (spinach), oshifima (mahangu porridge) and marula oil. Delicious!

The boys who were quick enough to catch the chicken.

Trying not to bond with the chicken.

Me, Emilie and Elizabeth stirring that oshifima.

Out goes vegetarianism!

Pete enjoying the meal.

So how did the chicken meet it's untimely end, did you actually do it?
